Professor Kotler is the S.C. Johnson & Son Professor of International Marketing at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. Widely known as the father of modern marketing, Philip Kotler is the author of 57 books including Marketing Management, the most widely used marketing book in graduate business schools worldwide. His latest books include Marketing 3.0, Winning Global Markets, and Confronting Capitalism. He has traveled extensively throughout Europe, Asia and South America, advising and lecturing to many companies about how to apply sound economic and marketing science principles to increase their competitiveness. He loves Indonesia and comes to the country once every two years.

Hermawan Kartajaya is the founder and CEO of MarkPlus, Inc., a leading marketing professional services firm in Indonesia. Very active in the marketing space, he co-founded the Asia Marketing Federation. He has written five books with Philip Kotler, including Marketing 3.0 which was translated into 23 languages globally. In 2003, he was named by the United Kingdom’s Chartered Institute of Marketing on the list of “50 Gurus Who Have Shaped the Future of Marketing” that includes the likes of Philip Kotler, David Aaker, Gary Hamel, Tom Peters, and Seth Godin. In 2009, he received the Distinguished Global Leadership Award from the Pan-Pacific Business Association at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Hooi Den Huan

Hooi Den Huan is the Director of the Nanyang Technopreneurship Center and an Associate Professor at the Nanyang Business School. He was a Blue Ribbon Commission and Teaching Council member of the Nanyang Technological University and is a Supervisor of the Executive board of the Asian Marketing Federation Foundation. Den was a Visiting Scholar at the Sloan School of Management, MIT and is an honorary consultant with the China Center for the Promotion of International Trade. Apart from being a Babson TETA Fellow, he is an advisor of ICSB Singapore, the School of Business Management, ITB, Indonesia and the Times Higher Education, Times of India. Den is also an editorial board member of the International Journal of Quality Innovation (Springer) and the Retail and Marketing Review.
