Jochen Wirtz is Vice Dean, Graduate Studies, the founding director of the dual degree UCLA – NUS Executive MBA Program (ranked globally #6 in the Financial Times 2016 EMBA rankings), and Professor of Marketing at the National University of Singapore (NUS).

Dr Wirtz is a leading authority on services marketing and management. His research has been published in over 100 academic journal articles, incl. in five features in Harvard Business Review. He serves on the editorial review boards of 12 academic journals and has received over 40 awards in recognition of his excellence in research and teaching.

His over 10 books include Services Marketing – People, Technology, Strategy (World Scientific, 8th edition, 2016) and Essentials of Services Marketing (Pearson Education, 3rd edition, 2017), both co-authored with Professor Christopher Lovelock. With translations and adaptations for over 25 countries and regions and combined sales of over 800,000 copies, they have become globally leading services marketing textbooks. His latest book for managers is Winning in Service Markets (World Scientific, 2017).

Dr Wirtz has worked on large-scale consulting projects with international consulting firms, including Accenture, Arthur D. Little and KPMG, and major service firms around the world. He has been involved as an angel investor in and advisor to a number of start-ups, incl. Accellion (www.accellion.com), AngelLoop (https://AngelLoop.com), TranscribeMe (www.TranscribeMe.com) and Up! Your Service (www.UPYourService.com).

Dr. Wirtz received his Ph.D. from the London Business School and holds a professional certification in banking. Originally from Germany, Professor Wirtz spent seven years in London before moving to Asia. Today, he shuttles between Asia, the US, and Europe.

Laina Greene is founder of GETIT Inc, an international business planning and strategic marketing consultancy based in Silicon Valley since 2000. Laina’s work experience spans 25 years in the telecom industry with a focus on Green ICT and bridging the digital divide in developing countries. Laina has worked for profit organizations (Singapore Telecom, INTELSAT, Cisco Systems, Juniper Networks); for non-profits organizations (ISC, IDRC, APIA and APNIC); inter-governmental organizations (ITU, UNDP, World Bank, South Pacific Forum); and founded interactive multimedia business in Asia servicing regional high tech customers.

Laina served as first Secretary General of the Asia Pacific internet Association (APIA), Policy Advisor of Asia Pacific Network Information Center and Advisory member of the Asia Pacific Rim Internet Conference on Operational Technologies (APRICOT), founder of Asia Pacific Policy and Legal (APPLe) group, taught International Telecommunications Law at the National University of Singapore, and helped educate and shape National Internet plans for governments in the region through the UN, including Afghanistan, Mongolia, Laos,Vietnam, Cambodia and Myanmar.

Laina is currently an Entrepreneur in Residence at Stanford University, teaching a class on Intercultural Negotiations, serves as a Board member of emota.net, a health care startup in the Bay Area and involved in several other related consultancy projects. Most recently, co-produced a documentary called Green Planet on Green ICT and also completed a concept paper funded by the World Wildlife Fund in Sweden to consider developing a Seed Fund to address funding gaps needed to help bring energy and communications to the rural poor.

Over the years have travelled to 47 countries; lived in US, Switzerland and Singapore; lives in a solar powered house; drives an electric car and consider herself a Global Citizen. Married to Barry Greene, President of Internet Systems Consortium and mother of two teenagers.

Hooi Den Huan

Hooi Den Huan is the Director of the Nanyang Technopreneurship Center and an Associate Professor at the Nanyang Business School.

He was a Blue Ribbon Commission and Teaching Council member of the Nanyang Technological University and is a Supervisor of the Executive board of the Asian Marketing Federation Foundation.

Den was a Visiting Scholar at the Sloan School of Management, MIT and is an honorary consultant with the China Center for the Promotion of International Trade.

Apart from being a Babson TETA Fellow, he is an advisor of ICSB Singapore, the School of Business Management, ITB, Indonesia and the Times Higher Education, Times of India.

Den is also an editorial board member of the International Journal of Quality Innovation (Springer) and the Retail and Marketing Review.

Bringing the theme of Crazy Marketing into the everyday work, emphasizing the importance of thinking like there is no box, innovation becomes a crucial culture in Pertamina’s Marketing. In the span of less than two years since taking office, Pertamina have launched a number of new retail products successively, namely: PertaLite, DexLite, PertamaxTurbo, and BrightGas. All were well received by the customers and successfully rejuvenated a stagnant energy market.

He graduated from Bachelor of Information Engineering Program at the Bandung Institute of Technology (1986) and Master of Industry Management Program at the University of Indonesia (1999). His career in Pertamina started in 1989 and was trusted to hold a number of strategic positions, namely Deputy Director of Distribution (2007-2008), Senior Vice President of CSS (2009-2010), Senior Vice President of HR Development (2011-2012), and President Director of Pertamina Trans Kontinental (2012-2014).

Faizal Rochmad Djoemadi is an Indonesian citizen, born in Blitar on December 12, 1967. He holds a bachelor degree in electrical engineering from Institut Teknologi Sepuluh November Surabaya in 1991 and master degree in electrical engineering in Saskatchewan, Canada in 1998.

He was appointed as a President Director of Telin since August 1, 2016 based on the Annual General Meeting on July 1, 2016. He previously served as Deputy EGM Wholesale Service Division (2012-2014) and EGM Wholesale Service Division (2015-2016).

In addition to serving as Managing Director, Faizal also serves as Chairman of Telekomunikasi Indonesia International Pte. Ltd.
